All
animals know, by birth, how to live and
survive as animals. Only MAN has to learn
the art and technology of living as a human
being–both in moral and physical sense. No
animal needs any education in what is
harmful or beneficial for its life. Man has
to undergo this education whole his life.
Animals do not live by their choice but by
their instincts–a genetic pack of
unlearned knowledge and skills given to them
by The Mother Nature as their first and the
last birthday gift. Man, on the other hand,
has to live by his own choice. In his case,
instead of instincts, Nature has given him
the most wonderful gift–the thinking tool
called the MIND–with
the full freedom to use or not to use it.
This implies that we are our own fate
arbiters with the full autonomy to lead our
life the way we choose. The only freedom
that the Mother Nature has denied Man is the
freedom to escape from the consequences of
his own choices.
As
a wise mother, Nature has done one more
thing. She has put a price tag on everything
man seeks to have. Only the currencies and
the payment terms differ in accordance of
what he wishes to have. In the case of HEALTH
AND HAPPINESS,
the currency SHE accepts is ONE’S
OWN WILL TO BE HEALTHY AND HAPPY.
Paradoxically,
however, most of us have only the wish but
not the will to be healthy and happy. And
since wish is not an acceptable currency, we
cannot buy health and happiness with it. As
nobody can be healthy and happy on your
behalf, nobody can create the will in you.
It is you
and you alone who
can give health the status of your PHYSICAL
MORALITY. Sooner the better.

What
is Health?
In
simplest terms, health means the absence of
any disease. What is
Disease?
Anything
that puts our mind and body to
dis–ease.
What
is
dis–ease?
A
state when our mind or any part of our body
is under discomfort and is not behaving
normally.
The
Trinity
Thus,
it is wrong to confine health to our body
alone. It is a combination of the three
distinct but mutually inter-dependent states
of:
The
Body: The
Mind: The
Emotions.
Thus,
in operational terms:
Health
|
is
that
state in a person
|
When
his/her
body is at ease,
|
When
his/her
mind is at its peace, and
|
When
he/she
feels emotionally happy and in good
spirit
|
If
any one of the factors of this trinity is
missing, the person is not healthy.
